Just have to say that I tried Todd's new "Perfect Mix" pellets with Hickory, Cherry, Maple, & Apple, and WOW!  I've never noticed a huge difference in using different woods before.  But right from the start this smelled incredible.  The pork butt I'm cooking still has a few hours to go, but I tried a chicken sausage that just came out and it's unbelievable!  My hat is off to Todd!

I did much of my of my testing with Perfect Mix Pellets and so did some other guys testing for me.  The mix of Hickory, Cherry, Maple & Apple is a great combination for most smoking.

Got Some Pics of The Sausage and Pork?

I'm afraid my appetite beat out my picture taking this time.  How's this pellet mix for beef, or do you have another recommendation?

I like that one too Ron (

), and coming from me that's saying a lot, because I'm a Hickory, Hickory, Hickory kind of a guy. Right Todd?

May be a little strong for cheese, but other than that, you can't go wrong with Perfect Mix Pellets.  I think they are the best all around pellets on the market

DONT FORGET ABOUT ME!!!     I WILL BE ORDERING SOON.  I LOVE THE PELLETS.....NO MORE CHUNKS FOR ME!!

Are they just the individual flavored pellets all mixed up or does each pellet made of the blended wood?  I have been mixing 2-3 flavors of pellets using those 4 flavors and have been loving it.

Perfect Mix Pellets are mixed before they are made into pellets.

I think you can achieve the same results by mixing pellets up on your own.

If you like a heavier smoke, use more Hickory.

If you like a lighter smoke, use more Maple.Cherry or Apple
