New MES 40

Well I haven't been on the forum for awhile, but I just picked up the new smoker. This is my 6th smoker and my third Masterbuilt electric. I smoked the others to death. Looks like they made some nice improvements from my last MES. They moved the vent to the left side, put the grease tray in the front and the temp probe is now in the middle. My last MES was about 25 degrees off in temperature. I checked this one with a thermocouple probe while I was seasoning it and the temperature was less than 2 degrees off. It also has Bluetooth which I have heard that the app doesn't work well, but I really don't need that feature anyway. I will be ordering the Masterbuilt cold smoke generator next month to go along with it.

Also if you are thinking about one of these, try to get it at Sams Club. They have an unlimited number of days to return it if you are not satisfied. I think you have to have the receipt.
