Hi,I just joined the forum. I have a basic Weber Smokey Mountain smoker that I've been trying to teach myself with. I also just purchased a propane Smoke Vault but haven't used it yet. Can't wait to learn from all of your experiences.

Welcome to the forum.

Those are both very good smokers.

I know because I have both of them too.

Glad to have you with us!

Good afternoon everyone!

I found this page as I was searching for a retrofit for my charcoal Brinkman smoker to propane.

I live in Wisconsin and needless to say when I have the time to smoke it's cold outside thus causing a low temp issue.

I remember the unit my Dad and Uncke made from an old refrigerator and they could do some serious smoking with that thing. Needless to say they are both watching from above so my smoking mentors are gone.

The article I found was awesome but the pictures now are only of a kitten which makes it a little more difficult to envision the job.

Thanks for letting me join and would love to hear from the people that have done retrofits like this especially.

Welcome to SMF. Glad to have you here. If you haven't go sign up for the free 5 day E-Course.

Both of your smokers will turn out great food. Lots of information on the site about them.
