My husband & I have an electric smoker. We love to try new foods & encourage our kids to do so. He's been reading on here an gotten a lot of ideas. He showed me & last weekend we made our first breakfast fattie it was a big hit the kids loved it. Our 11 yr old ask if we could do that every weekend. We are gonna try a pizza one tomorrow. I rolled the sausage out but it was real sticky stuck to the wax paper started ripping apart so it's not looking real pretty at the moment. Any suggestions on what I did wrong? The pic is of the one I made last weekend

I roll my sausage inside a gallon ziplock bag then put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes to stiffen it up. Then I cut the sides of the bag and lay it out on the wax paper. Never had a problem with it sticking when it was really cold.
