Hey , just stopped by to say hello fro the Buckeye State, Columbus Ohio.  I am a smoking newbie, just have messed around with a little Brinkman a few years back and a smoke box on my current propane grill.   I really do miss char-coal / wood grilling.

Now it it time to get serious with a real wood smoker.  I've been playing around with building my own.  I have an old (heavy) compressor tank that served me well as a auto mechanic wannbe teenager.  I'm a bit older now 50+ and I've been reading on the net for designs and ideas and found this site an few days ago.  Well its time to join up and start my build.  I am really impressed with all the help given to those not as smoke savvy.   Looking forward to all your advice encouragement.
