I am in northern suburb of Detroit, I use offset big box barrel smoker that I modified to be more effective. Looking to upgrade soon, But mostly impreseed with quality of meat I can get out of the smoker.
Also bought a smallpellet grill, but for 3x price I can get 2x flavor out of economy barrel smoker.
I have Weber Genesis but prefer charcoal and can always use offset smoker when I am cooking for myself or just a couple steaks.
