Greetings gentlemen. Scott from Central California here. Been smoking for about 5 years. Started on a small MES from Lowe's. Then last year I convinced my wife that this wasn't just a fad and bought a Louisiana vertical pellet smoker from Costco. In 5 years I have came close to what I feel is perfection on turkey, tri-tip, pork chops and steak. But still have much to learn. I don't make my own rubs or sauces since I don't have a clue on how to do that yet. I have read enough of you all and decided I needed to join and contribute what little knowledge I have as well. I don't know where I'd be without you all! I have 2 neighbors that bought smokers after a few years of having them try my recipes and they wanted to get in on it as well.
