My name is Ted and I'm a 25-year husband to my beautiful wife, Mercedes, and a father of three fine young boys.

I'm currently stuck in Coral Gables, Florida, but fortunately, did most of my 'growing up' in the hill country of Texas and have been hooked on the food ever since.

And I'm finally ready to start making my neighbors envious with the rich aromas of hickory, pecan and apple! (Not to mention a few fatted calfs)

I have a newly-acquired Smoke Hollow propane smoker and am in the market to replace a finally-deceased Weber grill. 

Just a humble beginner.

Welcome to the group!  I keep replacing my Weber kettle with Weber kettles!  I'm on my 3rd over 30 years, and my grandpa had his original for over 20 years.  Glad to have you with us.
