I m new here, Work in Charlotte NC, live in SC just found this forum today. I've been cooking on a Kamado Joe and Weber grill for years now. I hope to pick up an OC Brazos in the next few weeks. Looking forward to the wealth of information here. two places I've found the Brazos is Academy sports and Bucees. I have to order from Academy sports so I don't know if I'll get a good one and Bucees is 2hrs away from me and I don't even know for sure if they have them or how much they cost. I may make the drive and hope to find one with good welds and not too warped.

Welcome from Kernersville, Between Winston and Greensboro.
I got a Pecos from Academy in Greensboro several years back. I noticed they have had Brazos in Greensboro here lately. I agree I'd like to put my hands on it before I buy it. Good luck

Greensboro is much closer than Florence. I'll have to go onsite and check for their availability there. When I check locally in Charlotte and Rock Hill it shows online order for pick up in store only. I am seriously thinking about a road trip to Florence to the Bucee's I know they carry them just not sure how many the have or pricing.
