My Birthday Gift was a new Halo Griddle...Hubby converted it to LNG for me (hate running to refill propane) All Videos and forums saying griddle runs at 500 deg Plus. Wow..chow could burn quickly at that rate. Seasoned the griddle as per instructions, fired up and warmed up on low, after 10 min only at 325 deg. Hmmm, turn up to medium and close the lid. 10 min later griddle at 425 deg across the board. Ok ready to cook something. Tossed on some thin bone in piggy pops and added green pepper and mushrooms on the side. Everything cooked very well. no where near as hot as what has been reported with the grill lid up. So far so good...will update on further cook testing. I am guessing that the LNG runs cooler than the faster running propane,

Once I get my blackstone up and running, I turn that thing almost all the way down. It stays plenty hot enough to cook anything you need.
Be sure to post up some pictures of that new cooker...
