Just wanted to say hi and complement the site. I've already pulled a ton of informantion form everyones experiences. I just recently purchased a Traeger Lil Tex Elite and have had good luck with it. I will say it is not ready right out of the box. It took me awhile to find the right tech support guy to get mine lined out. They state the P setting is only for smoking temp but that is incorrent. the P setting effects the whole temperature spectrum. I now have the correct P setting and my grill maintians an accurate temp. Living in Southern California the grill running way to hot to smoke anything and now the smoking temp is at 130 to 180 depending on outside condistions. Anyways glad to be here and learn a whole bunch, slow cooking and smoking is new to me but so far I love it.
