Hi everyone,  I live in Edinburgh in Scotland and I got myself a 22" charcoal Weber Kettle in August last year. (I moved into a house with a garden - a bit of a rarity here.) I found out about Low n slow not long after. I've been doing rib racks every 2-3 weeks over the winter and did my first pork butts last weekend which I was pretty pleased with. I've only just found the forum so I am looking forward to learning and hopefully passing on knowledge in the future. A trip to the US for a BBQ pilgrimage is on the bucket list.

Welcome aboard, Bloke!  You've found a very friendly place to learn and share ideas on all things smoked, grilled, cured, etc.  We enjoy helping and encouraging one anther, so when you need anything, just ask...someone here will surely have the answer.

Oh and BTW, a pilgrimage to your fair land, to play golf at St. Andrews, is on my  bucket list!

Hello some bloke, and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.   I had a friend from Edinburgh, his name is Wayne Rudd, he and his wife had a book store, Wayne worked for Kramo heavy lifting.

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Looking forward to your posts and see what kind of twists you put on smoking low and slow!

Enjoy the Smoke!

Hey Bloke..welcome. Sounds like you have that fancy WSM under control. Been accused of having wee bit Sots/Irish in me own bloodlines. Hey we might be kinfolks.

Hey new guy...

If you have any surplus I'll buy it off you.

I can meet or collect from Edinburgh.

Drop me a line.
