Hello to everyone! I am almost a smoker virgin. I just got my first propane smoker 3 weeks ago and have used it three times so far with varying degress of sucess. I have picked up tons of great info here that has helped a LOT! I am putting some pork butts on tomorrrow and will try to document with pics how they turn out. So if you smell something delicious in the air it may be from my smoker, or if you smell something burning..........

I will try to add details in signature when I figure out how.

Welcome Deuce! I start my Boston Butts for pulled pork at 4 am. I try to find a couple of 8 pounders or so. The last ones I did took over 15 hours...Start early is the tip of the day....

Thanks for the welcomes and thanks to RTBBQ2 for the tip on cooking time!

I still have not figured out how to add the additional info or signature describing your smoker, etc. Any help on that would be appreciated also.

I think you need 20 or so post before you get that turned on in you profile. Post on the roll call others threads and it will get turned on for you. Mine was off and one day I could add the signature stuff.

RTBBQ....smoke it like it's the last one...:grilling_smilie:
