Hello all, I am a new to the forum and I wanted to welcome myself. I live just outside Philadelphia and have been smoking on my silver smoker for the past year. I am very new to this art, and as I say in my profile, any and all help is welcome. I am not too shabby for being a rookie, but I know I have tons of room for improvement. I have plenty of questions and hopefully I get plenty of answers in return. I use a Char Broil Silver Smoker, which I purchased last year from the Home Depot and so far it has treated me good. If there is any mods I can make to the grill, please chime in and let me know. Talk to you all soon !!

Welcome Jack- You found the place! There are a few threads I have seen on that unit. lemme look...

Yep just do a search on "silver".

Enjoy yer time here!

Well, I didn't want to confuse anyone with Wiz Wit haha
I am out in the burbs in Swarthmore, Delaware County and I work here in center city Philly.

You work in center city? Bro you must really look forward to the week end smokes. I don't know how anyone can put up with that "Hussle & Bussle" of center city. Well hope to see more of you around here. Tell you what, the next time I'm smokin during the week I'll let you know, maybe that will help you relax a bit.

Yeah, the lifestyle is way more up tempo then what I like, but it pays the bills ya know? Hey like I said before, I am a rookie so whatever tips and tricks you have please fill me in because I will soak any information I can get in and use it for my own smokes.
