Glad to find this site! I live in Weeping Water, NE approximately 35 miles south of Omaha and 35 miles east of Lincoln. I am somewhere between a beginner and intermediate when it comes to smoking. Love to do it, just never enough time.
We already wore out a Masterbuilt 30" electric after several years, now several months into our new one. I recently bought one of the side boxes for slow smoking. Normally use mesquite and a lot of apple chips.
I'm retired Air Force and work for the Nebraska Dept. of Labor helping veterans find employment in Omaha.
