well, not much to say  - I love food and it loves me. I've liked smoked food forever but having time to sit and tend a charcoal smoker while trying to learn the art just didn't appeal to me. SO after talking to a friend shorty's custom calls - big time turkey call maker and smoker extrodinare (now that I gave the props, I'm looking for some deals from the guy :) ), I decided to try the masterbuilt digital electric smoker.

so I'm sure you'll see great posts of me burning my meat and all that good stuff on here....feel free to give a holler or give me tips!!

, so you want to take the plunge into smoking ... well , I certainly hope you realize what you're in for... you might end up with O.S.D. , but being an Obsessive Smoker is great if you like friends hanging around all the time ,enjoy "Cruising " the Meat section of the Market , hearing your significant other say "will you please cut the constant talking about Smoking (as she sits there chewing on a delicious Spare Rib) 

and trying to decide what "new" toy you want to add to your collection...

  

 

But it's not so bad a Disorder , at least you get to eat the mistakes. I hope you enjoy your stay here and we are all in support of you . It isn't a 12 step program , but it works well for us ...
