Hey there! Just signed up, been reading through for a while though. I'm from Greenwood SC and I've been smoking for quit some time. Right now I'm stuck smoking with a weber performer. I have an ECB that holds my chimney while lighting my coals. Lol. Currently in the process of building a plywood "smokehouse". Looking forward to posting some q-view of that soon.

Welcome from 50 miles north. It's good to have you on this great site. I don't know anything about wood smokhouses except that my granddad had one when I was a little boy.

We were supposed to have competed in your town's contest last year.  Unfortunately, the mother of one of the team members passed away and we had to bow out.  We will probably try and get down there again this summer.  

Maybe we'll run into each other.
