I'm new to this site. Have found a lot of great ideas here. I have started my first reverse flow smoker today. Have a 78" x 24" water tank. Tank was built in 1963 . It is a 144 gallon tank. Started the day by cutting 23" off for my firebox that should leave me a 55" cooking chamber. I'm waiting on my steel to come in Monday to do more. I'm not a welder but have a friend that can. Trading him an identical tank and use of tools for the build. Will someone please run my numbers to make sure they are correct. I have run them several times and think they are.
Thanks.

Al, morning....   A drawing of your ideas will help....   What are your numbers ??  If you use the cutoff section for the firebox, we will need to know that...  The more info you provide, the easier this will be...
