New braunfels

WOWWWWWW... now that's a GREAT FIND there... If ya wanna get rid of it, I'll drive up and get it... LOL... If you can get the thermometer out without ruining it, I would do a calibration test on it as they are usually off some.... thinking your really gonna like it....

The old New Braunfels were great units.

X2 on the therm.  Use wired probes instead.  At least until you learn how far off the lid therm is.

You might need some minor mods, but you have a sweet smoker there.

The little New Braunfels units went in the $200 range back in the early 90's.

A larger one like yours?  You know it would be way more.

Then convert a 1990 dollar to a 2013 dollar?  You would have to add about 75% to the 1990 price based upon which inflation calculator you trust? (do not trust government figures as they are skewed to make the government look better and placate the taxpayer)

You can see what a deal you got!
