Hey.........I have never smoked meat before but really like the flavors.  I can't wait to learn from the forum members.  I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.  I am retired from 34 years in public education and stay active in the summer by assisting in the administration of 10 municipal beaches and a pond.  I live alone with my wife.  My oldest daughter is a pastry chef for a Food Channel Iron Chef.  My hobbies include bee keeping, gardening and fishing.  I've  done some research on smokers and it looks like the 18'' WSM smoker would be right for me.  Can't wait to learn and get going.

Thanks for letting me join.

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

I get it....I belong to a Bee forum, every question gets 10 to 12 responses that are mostly different.  Sooooooo, you pays your money and you take your chances.  But I really hope most agree!
