New 40" master built smoker

i been smoking for a few few years i started with a smoker it was off the wall name i got it at freds store here in alabama smoked on that thing for a while well it was cheap made but it got the job don well went out other day to smoke on it and the dang door fell off of it. so i went and got me the bad boy 40" master built smoker so here it my new toy been reading the forums hoping i will learn how work that sucker like a pro and helpful tips would be great thanks!!

What is the difference between a MES30 and the MES 40? I have one that looks just like this one that I bought at Sam's in Dec. 2010 for 298.00 and no where does it sag its a 30 or 40. Is the 30 and 40 the height? Just curious.

Yep, The 30/40 is the approx. Height. The 40 is wider too...JJ

Congrats on the new smoker! I have the 40 and love it. Main thing to do is get a good thermometer and check the actual cabinet temp to the temperature you set it for. Most of us have found there is a difference +/- in the temps.
