I regularly check in to the thisiswhyyourefat website to see the crazy things on there. The other day someone had posted a fattie and as I looked at it there was something familiar with it...not only had I smoked one just like it before but that was MY cutting board in the picture!

Someone had taken my picture from here and posted it on there.
Name of the poster was Barney Stinson, attempting to figure out who he was I Googled it and to my surprise it was the name of the charachter Neil Patrick Harris (NPH) plays on the show "How I Met Your Mother" but I've never seen it so I had no clue.

Now the reason for the rant is simply this...
They called it a log and not a fattie which just will not stand!
I'm fine with the picture being posted there and even sent them an email telling them I had no problem with it but asked that they do me the favor of renaming it to a fattie and not a beef log.
Well, no reply and no change several days later so I would like to ask of everyone to go to their site and send them an email asking them to change the name to a fattie.
Thanks everyone, and happy smoking

How dare they!!! Justice must be served....

speaking of serving, while checking the site out I found a picture of this: "The Bacon Bar -- Bacon and ground pork sausage baked inside a chocolate bar." Might be a desert to serve at backyard BBQ....

Nothings sacred - someone in sunny CA hijacked my user ID - even spelled it without the e. Normally I would not have been riled but this person is a bit more conservative than Glen Beck.

Turtle burgers? Kids might like them but as a visual for me, it's too unstable.

I emailed 'em too. Sheesh, the least they can do is give credit where it's due.

Now, while browsing I found this:

They claim it's only 1lb of fried bacon with lettuce, tomato and mayo on toasted italian bread. That looks like more in the neighborhood of 6 - 8 lbs of bacon to me. I'd like to put a dent in that bad boy.

I also E-mailed them Dave and told them how you would like it and I thought in some juicey titbits of my own. Now I have you to thank for this fattie I said I have seen it here but didn;t know who created this perticular fattie but SMF was givin credit for this fattie at a resent lunch I threw for the boys at work. It was a very good idea and the fattie was the first one that was gone. So

and I'm sure I gave you some points for it too.

If you are not familar with Neil Patrick Harris's show... then you may not be all that familar with Neil Patrick Harris himself? Well... the title of the thread is a little funny because... well... Neil Patrick Harris is a little funny. Not in the ha ha kind of way but more in that don't ask don't tell kind of way if you know what I mean. He plays for the other team if you get what I'm saying. He has a way better since of fashion than most guys. He probably doesn't spend a lot of time looking that the SI swimsuit issue. He's... Well... are you picking up what I'm putting down? I think you are. Though... he's not shy about it. It's not like this is gossip. He puts it right out there. I'll just end with this. If Neil Patrick Harris ever tried to steal my fatty... I think I'd have to punch him in the mouth.

Ah, Tony's... Being in SE Michigan many people know of it. Part of the reason it looks so big is because they don't fry the bacon on a flat top, they deep fry it. I can't imagine they use quality bacon like some of us here make, so I'd wager it's a bit like eating a crunchy salt sandwich.
