I was wondering if anyone has modded their GOSM with a needle valve? If you have did it give you better temp control and or more accurate adjustments for temp?

Thanks for any info you can give me,

Butch

Hi Butch, Yes, yes and yes!
When I first got my GOSM I couldn't get it below 250* and with water in the pan temps were all over the place trying to adjust with the factory valve. After the needle valve and dumping the water and filling the pan with sand I could maintain 185* and easily make 5* - 10* adjustments. It made a world of difference!

Thanks so much for the info I will have to go get some sand and order a needle valve ASAP.
