Needle valve for masterbuilt/cabelas 7 in 1 smoker

I would like to buy the whole set up in 1 to add the needle valve and I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. Here is the replacement for the original http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/search/part/1054017/146167 and this is the one I'm thinking of getting http://bayouclassicdepot.com/m5hpr_propane_regulator.htm but the ends look slightly different and I don't know if this will be a problem?

They're both ¼ in., should fit just fine!

Hey one,

ck this link out to Bass Pro you may have one close. You can get a hose and needle valve  plus a deep fryer all for #39.97 and I believe it's the same size you are looking for most are 1/4".

That's what I was thinking just the little nub on the end looks diffrent but I didn't think it would matter.

I don't see a needle valve on this regulator or any mention of one but thanks for trying to help. I have my smoker so I don't really need something like this as the base of my smoker can be used just like this I'd just like to be able to fine tune my temps with out the flame blowing out.

I was thinking of ordering  http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...=PROPANE+REGULATOR&storeId=10051#.URyx3h3YfpU  and just buying an adapter to go from female to male so if it doesn't work I can just return it with no money lost.
