You guys know the stuff you buy being a member here . Needed a way to store some stuff without hiding it away . I have a good size walk in pantry , but it was full . So I built me a side board to go in my kitchen / eating area . Moved some stuff out if the pantry to make room .
Not a clean freak , but I don't like clutter .
Anyway , been awhile since I made something like this , but I like the way it came out .
Some pics ,
Sum of the parts , I was well into it at this point .

Very nice! I too am running out of space and it will be getting tighter as my Wife wants a Dishwasher. We will lose a cabinet for that...JJ

That looks great,my next project is a spice rack built into the wall in the kitchen,a 16"x24" panel cut out and shelfs installed

Nice job Chop, that cabinet looks great. Very skilled young man.

That's on my list too . If you're going to let it into the wall , 16" on center framing leaves you 14 1/2 " stud bay .

I used to half lap all my face frames . I picked bears brain on this , and I had a kreg jig that I had never tried . So I went with pocket holes on the frame , but the top has biscuits . That pocket jig is just to easy .
