need ideas for smoker build

I am a newbie to the smoking world. Here is my project I just finished. Took 3 months to build. Me and 3 others just getting started in competitions this summer

UPDATE:

I didn't abandon the project, finished product soon.

Project wasn't abandoned just set on the back burner.

I'm going to weld in some more supports and make it so I have up to 6 shelves to slide in and out. Maybe bottom 2 will be pans for catching grease.

Just felt like updating.
