Need help with the hook up

Converting my custom electric to propane and need to know how to hook it up. Is the burner plugged directly into the tank and the heat is regulated by the valve on the tank or is a regulator needed in the line?

Hello.  Semper Fi.  Yes a regulator is needed and most folks even install a needle valve in line to "fine tune" the gas flow.  Hope this helps.  Keep Smokin!
