Need help with parts

Hi all. I have a smoker that I originally purchased from Cabelas in the mid 70s. As you can see in the pics it says Smokehouse but I contacted them and it isn't the company that makes the Big Chief. They don't know and can't help me. If I can't find the original parts I would appreciate ideas on where to find stuff to adapt the one I have to a functioning unit. The cord and heating element are shot. Thanks.

JonS - Maybe this will help.  Different style element but maybe you can breathe some life into your smoker.   The Old Smokey is an American Original since the 1920's.  Good luck!  Dave
