Need help with collagen casing

What’s going on with the discoloration? 17mm collagen casings.
 
WOW. Maybe a defect in the casing.? Some look great an the others have a line where the good and bad starts and stops.
 
Weird. Looks like you got the tail end of a run where they switched colors. Did you notice a difference when you stuffed them?
 
I have gone thru 15 caddys of casings, never seen this. Kinda looks like the ends were not tied off end the meat came out of the ends?

I agree with NEPA, it looks like the casing shrunk leaving the mince exposed. By the looks of the puddle under them you might be running hot and had some rendering of the fat.
 
I've only been stuffing for a couple of years and use a lot of collagen, but I've not seen anything like that.
Where did you get the casings?

I just cut that part out. There was no difference other then the discoloration.

No they where just like the other ones. I think it was just something with the casings.

I did a slow temp rise on this. Did Another batch the same way before and it came out perfect. Other then the color they where great.

I got them off of amazon. I went through half a package that I used the first half a few months ago and a some of a fresh package.
