Plugged in my masterbuilt 40 in smoker tonight and the display read CH42. Then the lights flashed on and it went to all zeros. Has anyone ever had this before?
Need help please immediately.

Did you try unplugging it and try again?
Had the smoker been stored someplace warm and dry?
If yes and yes, I think your control box is bad.
