OK you old pros, help me out. First, did I get a good deal, $4.39 per pound, buy one get one free, so $2.19 per pound. Second, what temps and what rub. Thanks in advance.
I use "prime rib" rubs for all my steaks and beef roasts. then I rub them down with fresh garlic and extra fresh ground pepper. Got one sitting in the fridge for tomorrow!
Ganny for our area not a bad buy and I use the same rub as I do on a butt. I foil them at 165-170 then go to 190 for slicing and 205 for pulling. I rest them for 1 hour
That or Winn Dixie. Always seems like their price per pound is higher when they do buy one get ones. But in my neck of the woods $2.19/lb is a good price for chuck roasts
I hate that pricing scam. Wish they would just price correctly.
Any how, do what the above mentioned. It will be good.
Although I am a salt & pepper for beef guy.
