Greetings from Fort Wayne, IN!  I've been visiting the site and borrowing data for just over a year now and decided to return the favor by signing up and sharing as well.  I began smoking on a very poorly designed Char Broil charcoal grill approx. 2 years ago.  Earlier this month I picked up an 18.5" Weber Smokey Mountain brand new and assembled (albeit incorrectly) from a local Wal Mart.  It was on clearance for $100 off because it was "last year's model".  After one seasoning run with a pound of bacon I've had three very successful smokes on it and looking forward to more!  I work full time and travel all over the US so I look forward to being home on the weekends and barbecuing while enjoying time with my wife and two young daughters.

Today is another rather warm day for February in the mid-west (~40° F) so I've got two pheasant breasts and a whole chicken headed for the smoker later today.
