Hello.  

I'm Cale from Davidson, NC which is basically north Charlotte.  I grew up in eastern NC, which means I grew up on the vinegar style bbq sauce.  I still use it, even though I live in western NC now.  

I've had my BGE for a year now and love the heck out of it.  I've entered two small competitions (12 or so teams) and have a second place trophy and a Peoples Choice Trophy.  I've got another one coming up in April.

I primarily cook shoulders for competition, but at home anything goes.  I also have a large tow-behind charcoal pig cooker that I do whole hogs on.  Not sure of the demensions but I've cooked two 120 lb hogs at once.  It doesn't get much action but I'm planning on doing bbq chicken plates outside a local butcher shop this Spring.

That's about it.  Looking forward to being a part of this community.
