Love them. Grew up with Hires rootbeet. A&W is a close second
We had three A&W drive-ins within driving distance when I was a kid.
I'm not sure any exist anymore, which is why I made mine at home!
I lived in Manitoba Canada for a few years, and they are still popular up there…
I'm sure they are still popular all over.. just not as common as they once were.
It's been 30 years at least since I had one of those! Looks great!
Sioux City, Spencer, Emmettsburg, and Jefferson Iowa, are closest to me... probably more in Iowa if you get the hankering!

I believe that last one I had was as a kid at an A&W restaurant. This way back for you yungins as the only place you could get A&W root beer was from the restaurant. You could buy it by the gallon in a glass jug and bring it home. Sure do miss those days!
Love a,good root beer float! A real throwback to my childhood. For us it was always a Frosty root beer.
