Just blows me away how fast this stuff comes back to life after sitting in the fridge for 3 weeks without being fed.

Now to come up with something to make with this.
I've made 4 batches since he posted this . They're great . Two batches I subbed in 100g of rye flour and added caraway seeds . Fantastic . He posts the formula in post 5 .

 
Oh I have a idea in the works. It will get posted if it all works out. If not the birds will be eating good tomorrow :emoji_joy:
 
OK so I found a recipe for Apple Fritter Bread. Looked and sounded good. Wondered if I could somehow use my sarter in the recipe. So I just winged it and this is what came out of the oven this morning.
Smells just like apple pie in here :emoji_thumbsup:
It unfortunately got stuck to the side of the cast iron pan I used.
Looks more like a cake then bread but it tastes great.
Thinking using it for French Toast.

I know! I sometimes leave mine untouched for a month or more and when it comes out o f the refer and warms it springs to life!

i think the key is to keep it simple and trust it will be fine.

the apple fritter bread looks like it tasted delish!
