My wife gifted me a new vacuum sealer for Christmas and when I saw the latest giveaway from Inkbird .... which I didn’t win by the way... I decided to pull the trigger on it with the great discount I got from Inkbird. 1/2 price( Thanks once again Inkbirdbbq Inkbirdbbq ) I can’t wait to try out this unit. I’m really looking forward to any advice or suggestions that anyone can give me about cooking this way.

Vacuum seal the food you wish to cook and place them in your water bath at the temp you wish to have your food. I can't give you recommended times for cooking but for beef you can cook tender cuts for 1 1/2 hrs and it should be good but you then have to sear them to get a crust on the outside. It will accurately cook your foods to the temp that you prefer. I hav the Anova and it works really great.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. It’s all new to me but I have to say I’m excited to try it
