I got them for xmas and the add a ton of cooking space. i also got the front rack and the side rack was from somebody that added a sear box to their smoker and gave me the shelf.

Nice! I got the racks too for Xmas but yet to have used them. I'm do for some jerkey and it'll be nice having 4x the space to make more. I also want a shelf to add, maybe the front one they offer. Curious on how accurate the stock lid temp guage is? Have you tested it?
 
thanks. we had three days of 50 plus degrees and rain so we had no snow for a week. but thats all changed again lol

i dont follow the lid at all. i upgraded my controller so i have the digital readout which is nice. It also has built in meat probe that i only use as last resort and it also auto shuts down after the cool down period. So all i do is turn to off and go out later and put it in the garage.
