For some odd reason I love meat loaf and love it even more smoked!

Meatloaf is next on my list to try. I like it a lot. But don't seem to eat it very often.

I've heard that once you try smoked meatloaf that you will never want to try it any other way.

That really turned out nice, that’s gonna make some great sandwiches if there’s any left over.
 
Sad but true. But we are almost empty nesters. The baby graduates HS in a few weeks. After dropping her at college...PARTY!!!!!
 
I smoked it at 300 plus or minus. I cooked it to an internal temp of 165. It took about 1 1/2 - 2 hr. I used pecan wood, it’s my favorite. I use it for chicken and brisket. My late FIL (z’l) who was from San Antonio, turned me on it many years ago.

Thanks again. I gave it a try. About 325 on my big green egg to IT of exactly 160. Used bacon on top with cheese stuffed in holes and apple chips for smoke. Was really good and of course I ate too much. About 1 hr 10 min
