I decided to give a pork butt a try! I'm originally from Texas so brisket is what I've always done. Here in Tennessee everyone does pulled pork... So why not try it for myself. I grabbed a small 5lb butt at the supermarket, rubbed it down with olive oil, and what sounded good to me. Smoked it over mesquite (the only wood I like) for about 10.5 hours. It got a real nice bark on it, and my wife says it even taste good! I smoked some beans along with it as well which turned out delicious but I didn't take pictures. Anyways here's a few photos.
