A few weeks ago I started thinking about adding to my smoking arsenal. I have 2 stick burners. A Bayou Classic and a custom made rig I call "Big Bertha" she weighs in at a fit 1,000 pounds and only use her for big smokes. I wanted something that would be fairly set and forget however, we all know some tinkering is required on all smokers. I started studying and reviewing all I could about the WSM 22.5 and the Masterbuilt 140B. Read tons of reviews and videos. Also posted on SMF and asked for opinions, both + and - . I read them all and appreciate everyone's input. I have made my decision based on all I have learned. Before the end of the year I will buy both! Thanks again for your input.

Great choice . If you do this stuff then you need options . I don't ever suggest both because money is not the same for everyone , but if you can afford it you won't be sorry .

$199.00 for the MES 140B at Academy Sports is a deal! The WSM a little different story as it relates to the price.

You can never have to many smokers :) The motto my wife thinks I live by lol
