Anyone a member of the Cal. BBQ Association (CBBQA)? I was thinking about joining but wanted to hear from someone who might be, or has been, in it.

On a side note I saw there is a comp at Knott's Berry Farm at the end of the year, I think the wife and I will go spectate.

I am not a member but would like to hear about the Knott's comp if you have the information handy. 

I live down if Fallbrook so it is only an hour or so for us. Let me know if you have a link for it

Fallbrook is on the back side of Camp Pendleton - in fact we have a gate that opens into town from the base. It is also the first town South of Temecula if that helps. Are you up in LA

For anyone in So Cal this is going to be a great event. There are some really good teams participating 

Too bad it is on New Years Eve and Day. That will limit the smoker crowd somewhat but the Knotts crowd will be huge
