Over the last several months I have been reading various posts on how well the AMNTS has worked with gassers. So last weekend I ordered one, along with 5lb bags of Peach, Cherry, and Pecan pellets from A-MAZE-N-SMOKER. The shipment arrived very quickly.
Today I installed the AMNTS set up in my MF Dual Door gasser.
Please excuse the some of the blurry images, as I only had my phone with me to take pictures.
Based on some of the feedback I was reading, I thought it was safe to put a shield between the flame and the AMNTS. I put the L brackets in both the front and back to try to get a little more air flow up underneath the tube. At this point it's all theoretical as to whether it will work or not. Tomorrow I'll be smokeing up 4 tri tips, 2 sirloin roasts, and a batch of moink balls. So hopefully it'll be a good test run.
