Wife and I went to an antique engine show on Thursday.
Beside the large stationery, and the varied pump engines, there is also the plethora of Maytag gas engine with and without the washtub and wringer head.

I stopped at one of the buildings and found this gem.
I asked the owner, and he said it came from Missouri area and are hard to find.
I regret not asking if we could pull a wringer head and mount on a washer.
OK washing clothes and grinding meat is probably an odd multitask.
How about grinding meat and churning butter? I forgot to take a photo of the churn insert for the wash tub.

If you're in the area, they have another 4-day show in February.

It's intriguing what some companies did in days gone by. If I was in the area. I would check it out.

That's really cool . I went and looked at some of the options they had . I remember my Grandma having a wringer washer in her kitchen . Shotgun house , and the kitchen was huge .

lol cool til Alzheimer's sets in and you end up washing your meat and grinding your clothes.

Sorry, I forgot to take a step back and think most never seen or knew about a wringer washer or even a gasoline engine powered washing machine.
My mother had a wringer washer up to the 80's.
The rubber rollers were no longer made since the 50's?

That is cool! Enabling was harder back in those days! :emoji_blush:

Enabling often meant neighbors shared.
Many had a gasoline engine powered washing machine as rural electric didn't reach many areas until the 40's.
Often items such as a meat grinder head or butter churn tub would be shared by many neighbors
