Hi everyone, Big shout out from the northeast coast NJ USA.
Started smoking about 5 years ago. Mainly fish and an occasional chicken on a home built electric smoker. Got into trying to make the perfect and rib (Baby back ) about two years ago after an attempt to try and impress my stepson, They came out pretty damn good, I just feel I can do a lot better . I finally decided to humble myself and pull the trigger on a store bought two door propane smoker. being I was having so many problems trying to get the temperature over 200 do to a lack of insulation in my home made unit . Figured while I wait for this new one to get delivered I would poke around on the Internet and try to better my knowledge about the rib. Well I found this site, started reading and here I am...Looking forward to everyone's advice and recipes.
