This was in Sept, we were ok after we got our power back in 6 days . But many are still dealing with the destruction or live in other places .
Many had to start from scratch. Government has lots of aid but while it is some help, it is never enough to put all back to normal. But it is help.

It was a wild storm, it stayed longer and wider than expected

It was wide for sure. We did fine, minor damage . Power out for 5/6 days Trapped in yard . power lines and trees down on street on either side of driveway.
But always have lots of food and a good generator.
Like said we were very lucky, but many many were not.
