Hello all,

Just wanted to do a little more of an intro than I did in the roll call. I live in north central alabama and work as an industrial maintenance coordinator for a local plant. I am very much into DIY and love building things instead of buying them. I am pretty good with electronics and have built two 3D printers and use them all of the time. I really like doing different projects with Arduino and will soon try to find something I can do with it that is related to smoking.

Here is the stuff I did for my last get together. Got some pork belly, boudin, local hot sausage, and some hotdogs.

Got the pork belly cut up and seasoned to make some burnt ends

Pork belly on the smoker

Turned out pretty good!!!

Here are the hotdogs

Smoked some hamburgers and some leftover boudin last night

And here is my humble rig, a Chargriller Duo with the side fire box. I added a baffle plate in the smoker just so that the fire would not be aimed directly at the food being cooked LOL. I also added a gasket kit to it to help with all of the smoke leaks/ air gaps.
