Made some pumpernickel using kit from prepared pantry that Robert @tx smoker turned me on to. Will be used later for Rueben's.

This is now my go to for Corned Beef. Rinsed good and four hour soak in water. One can 16 oz Guinness Draft. One cup beef stock. Bake 325 for 3 hours. Add carrots and potatoes for 45 minutes. Take beef out to rest and add cabbage. Bake another 30 minutes. So good.

I was going to pass on the Corned Beef and Cabbage this year but you've changed my mind.
Love the color on that beef! I've never used beer to cook with, though. Hate to waste a perfectly good beer.....
