I am Steve, and I am new to smoking meat.

I have a Brinkman side smoker(Model 1751), it fit my need for a grill and the chance to dabble into smoking.  After about a year of grilling with Propane bottles, I ran a natural gas line and converted it to NG.  I am open to any advice although I am surrounded by smokers in my neighborhood.

Steve, Welcome from SC. I'm sure you will enjoy this site. There are lots of folks here with tons of knowledge who always eager to share ideas, tips, recipes or anything else that you need. This forum has been around for over ten years, so there is a good chance that any questions you may have, have already been answered (they may have 10 different answers, but you'll get an instant response non the less).
