This was a sight 2 nights ago on my island. All that's missing is a BBQ setup with people enjoying the view, quaffing ale. I love my volcanic, earthquake prone island more than anywhere else I've ever been!
I might sit out between 10pm and midnight right here on my west lanai. There is zero ground light anywhere around to pollute the darkness.Awesome photo!!!
I'd love to be there in 10-12 days to see the Perseids meteor showers.
I can only imagine how wild it must be with your dark skies, this year there won't be any moon visible, so it will be epic!!!
Dan.
We have a ton of light pollution, and we see a bunch sitting in our hot tub. If you're awake, early AM is when we've seen the most hereI might sit out between 10pm and midnight right here on my west lanai. There is zero ground light anywhere around to pollute the darkness.
There's an arbor roof over our hot tub, so a lot of sky is blocked. Recliners on the beachrock stone deck is the best, with adult beverages to sip, of course. We have a ton of light pollution, and we see a bunch sitting in our hot tub. If you're awake, early AM is when we've seen the most here
