Hey Everyone!

New to smoking (and cooking in general) in the middle of Minnesota.  Got a smoker (brinkmann upright gas) around December 2011, been smoking most weekends ever since.  I've done mostly butts, loins, ribs, chickens, and turkey.  Usually, they come out pretty good.  I subscribe to the newsletter, and try to do the recipe each month, changing it up to my (and my family's) tastes.  I've encountered some problems along the way though, and do have a lot of questions to put up in here.  Hopefully I can learn something, and help out other's, along the way!

Hello and welcome, I grew up in Montevideo, MN.  Now in Wyoming.  I have learnd a lot here, all you have to do is ask a question and the best smokers in the world will jump in and answer.  I hope by taking their advice I will one day be as good as they are and be able to offer my advice.  Steve
 
Thanks for the welcome everyone!  I've been cruising the Smoking-Meat.com site pretty much since I started smoking (12/2011), but have finally posted in the forums.  Looking forward to having some fun.
